SSAM
Speculative Spaces for Artistic Methods (SSAM) is a network of researchers, artists and educators around the world who collectively experiment through making and producing how research approaches in fields, such as arts and education, could better live with and respond to the difficult, changing, and demanding sociopolitical issues of the world, while the world changes drastically and constantly. SSAM suggests rejecting models, pre-set molds, and research done with a sense of safety and wonder.
iDSEA
The International Disability Studies, Arts & Education (iDSAE) network brings together disabled individuals, disability activists, advocates, artists, researchers, educators, students, and members of the disability communities who share an interest in, or whose work and/or life addresses, the intersections and interplay between critical disability studies, arts, and education. Following Critical Disability Studies philosophy, iDSAE focuses on positive cultural disability identity and acknowledgement of lived experiences. iDSAE organizes biennial conferences and virtual Forums on alternating years. A special issue journal follows each conference.
